Creative Sabotage

When we decide to make improvements in our lives and start to truly see those improvements and start to get the results we actually want, it can feel like a scary place.

It is unfamiliar. It is new.

And that is always an uncomfortable place to be, even though we have envisioned these changes or improvements in our future and know we want them.

We may not be used to continuing to push forward since this is where we have typically given up in the past.

We are not used to making the space needed to allow ourselves to grow, to have or attain what we truly want.

So we creatively sabotage our goals.

We tell ourselves all sorts of fantastic excuses of why we should quit or how this is not worth it.

And we continue to repeat these excuses until we believe them.

And then we stop.

We stop moving forward, we stop growing ourselves, and we stop striving toward the improvements we are well on our way to making.

Our brain wants us to go back to that familiarity of what we're used to, despite how much we have loathed that familiarity or wanted to change it in the past.

There is a comfort there, so it makes sense.

But what if you decided to be afraid or uncomfortable instead?

What if you let those uncomfortable feelings just be there?

What if you decided not to get creative and not to sabotage all the work you have put in so far?

Because the fear and discomfort will pass. And you will continue along your journey to getting the results you want.

What could you create in your life if you stopped sabotaging your goals?

Let's get you out of sabotaging mode and into creating mode!
