Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

We often look to our past to decide what we’re capable of now.

Have I done this before?

How did I do it?

How did it go?

These are great questions.

But what if your past involved some failures?

As humans, we can make failure mean a lot of things.

Often, we use it against ourselves.

We tell ourselves we aren’t good enough, not smart enough, not strong enough.

We focus on how we didn’t do that right, how we should’ve done it differently, how we should be better at this by now…

The list is endless.

The weight of these negative thoughts usually leave us immobile.

Stuck.

In our bed, on our couch, in the past.

It’s so much different in the animal world.

If an animal fails at catching his prey, he doesn’t make it mean anything about himself or his abilities.

He doesn’t use it against himself.

Instead he rests. He regains his energy.

And then he attacks again with a slight tweak to improve his process.

He’s always evolving.

He never stops.

Because if he does, he will die.

Giving up is not an option.

I invite you to look to your future.

Don’t look back.

Decide what you’re capable of and get after it.

Evolve.

Never stop.

Are you ready to evolve into the next best, fit version of yourself?
