Intuitive Eating
The 4th of July is coming up!
That usually means gatherings and celebrations.
Which often means food. A lot of it.
Don’t get sucked in to automatically eating.
Don’t go eat the next thing just because it is there.
Intuitively eat. Listen to your body.
“Am I truly hungry?”
If no, go enjoy yourself.
If yes, eat something.
When the food you just gave yourself is gone, ask “Was that enough?”
If the answer is no, drink some water and ask yourself again in 30 mins.
If the answer is yes, walk away from the food table.
Drink some water anyways!
Enjoy your time with the people you care about.
Make it about the day, the holiday, and the people, not the food.
