"Eating healthy" is an investment in your future.
Healthy eating starts with buying high-quality proteins and whole foods like fruits, veggies, and whole grains.
What's high quality? Organic, non-GMO, and less processed the better.
The more the food has been processed, the once whole food is now broken down to sugar or pretty darn close. (This throws off our hormones & often leads to weight gain.)
And, the more processed, the higher chance it has of being full of chemicals, fillers, or preservatives to keep it on the shelf for longer. (Red flag!)
These are all your "convenient" foods.
I recommend staying away from the middle of the grocery store and staying away from the grab-and-go, convenient foods and meals.
Stay along the edges where the whole foods live.
These high-quality foods will have you feeling better!
You will have more energy because your hormones are not negatively impacted by all the processing and chemicals of those convenient foods.
And because you have more energy and feel better, you will have the bandwidth to find fun recipes and cook healthy meals.
What you put into your body fuels your body.
High-quality food is THE most important thing you can buy for yourself.
THIS is where you should be investing the most money.
