Take The Journey

The journey from Point A to Point B is rarely smooth and without issues.

Think about a car ride to even just the grocery store.

There are usually multiple stops along the way:

  • stop signs or lights

  • pedestrians or cyclists crossing the roads

  • road construction or detours

Some of these stops are more annoying than others.

But regardless, we usually continue on our journey to the grocery store without second guessing our decision to continue on.

It's different when we have a goal.

When we hit these metaphorical stops along the way, we often give up.

We tell ourselves it's too hard or we aren't good enough.

We throw in the towel after just barely trying.

What we forget is that this part, the part between Point A and Point B is the journey.

The journey is not meant to be smooth and easy.

But instead the place where we grow.

The journey is where we learn.

The journey is where we show ourselves how strong we are.

The journey is what makes us who we are.
