Nature’s Obstacles

Nature’s obstacles are chaotic and unplanned:

  • twisting roots

  • every rock size imaginable

  • rivers and streams

  • weather of any kind

You get the gist…

Even though nature’s obstacles can make traveling more difficult, we expect their presence.

We even accept them.

I have never been on a trail and thought “That root should NOT be there! Who put that there?!”

Yet in life, when we come across obstacles, we often think just that: “This should not be happening!!” And then we start searching for someone to blame (…a topic for another day.)

Why are we so accepting of nature’s obstacles but not life’s obstacles?

What if we could expect that life has obstacles?

Every size imaginable.

What if we could accept that these obstacles are supposed to be there?

That they are part of this life, whether we want them to be or not.

Does that make traversing life’s obstacles any easier?

Probably not.

But it might remove the additional layer of pain we suffer in trying to deny them away.

How are you doing with life’s obstacles?

I would love to help.
