Sugar Detox! You In??
A dear friend of mine and I decided to do a sugar detox.
We made 1 rule: Decide on exception days ahead of time.
My exception days are Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Hers are similar. She gave herself an exception for a Christmas party.
Nate and I don’t eat a lot of sugar, but we’ve been sneaking it in a bit more than normal.
The kicker was I got sick. It was most likely because we’ve been indulging more than normal.
Here’s the thing:
I know I feel better without it.
I will wake up energized and rested.
I won’t have energy (blood sugar) crashes throughout the day.
My chances of getting sick will drop dramatically.
So…are you in??
Do you want to detox with us?
If you don’t, please know that’s your stagnant brain feeding you excuses to convince you to keep eating sugar and not change.
If you do, HECK YES! (Way to use your forward brain and look to your future!) PM me, and we’ll keep a running tally and encourage each other!
