Taking Your Imperfections With You
I imagine a horse with its blinders on when I think of perfection.
The idea of perfection is so...stifling and limiting.
Yet so many of us strive to get there or believe we are supposed to be there.
I wanted to deliver some good news to you: Perfection is impossible.
If you are a perfectionist, you may be thinking "Yeah, yeah, for the rest of you maybe!".
But it's true. We are humans; we are flawed in so many wonderful (and not so many wonderful) ways.
And that's OK.
SO what if we decided to just take our imperfections with us?
(Instead of discarding them like a maggot-infested piece of fruit anytime something goes wrong?)
What if we decided to just let them be there?
We all know what ours are.
What if we decided to acknowledge them and chip away at them, to work on improving them instead of perfecting ourselves?
What would that look like?
