Trying vs Doing
Have you ever been caught in the phase of “trying”?
“I’m trying to lose weight.”
“I’m trying to eat better.”
“I’m trying to work out more.”
Then what happened?
Did you decide to evolve from trying to actually doing?
If the answer is no, that’s OK.
“I’m trying” sounds nice in theory. It sounds productive.
The problem is many of us get stuck there.
When you remain in the “trying” phase and never evolve to the “doing” phase, you talk yourself out of change, growth, and results.
Try these on instead:
“I am losing weight.”
“I am eating better.”
“I am working out more.”
See the difference?
You are telling your brain what you are doing, what you are achieving.
There’s no room for doubt or ambiguity.
You have made it very clear to your brain that you are, in fact, doing the thing you set out to do.
When your brain knows what to do, it knows which direction to point you in, and it knows what to look for.
Your brain starts working for you, and it starts making that thing you want your reality.
If you’ve been trying for a while, decide to take the next step to doing.
You won’t regret it!
Show yourself how capable you are.
