The Weight of Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs are sentences we tell ourselves that limit us.

They limit our thinking. They limit our potential.

Limiting beliefs hold us back. They weigh us down. They keep us in the same place, even when we know we want more.

They limit our lives in every way.

Imagine your limiting beliefs as a giant boulder tied to you that you drag behind you all day, every day.

It's heavy. It's exhausting.

Instead of using your energy to thrive in your current life, to create the life you want, and to elevate your life even more, you are expending your precious energy on dragging this giant boulder around.

It's holding you back.

I want you to stop dragging that boulder around for 5 minutes and take a look at your limiting beliefs.

Write down as many as you can in 3 minutes. GO!

For the next 2 minutes, look over what you have written, and see your limiting beliefs.

Which ones are lies? Throw those beliefs out.

Which ones did you pick up along your journey that don't serve you anymore? Throw those beliefs out too.

Which ones have you been holding onto simply because you didn't even know they were there? You know what to do...toss 'em!

Now how does that boulder feel?

A little better? A little lighter, a little smaller?

Try this every day for the next 5 days.
